Why half-elastic instead of full elastic?
Half-elastic means the elastic only spans the back of the band, with flat silk at the front. This eliminates the 'forehead crease' you get from full-elastic bonnets and keeps the silk from compressing your edges.
Will this fit waist-length, locked, or oversize hair?
Yes — the long-style body extends ~14 in / 36 cm past the band, comfortably covering waist-length hair, long locs, freshly-twisted styles, or a tucked pineapple.
Does the half-elastic stay put if I move at night?
The back-only elastic grips the nape, while the flat-silk front lays smooth on the forehead. Side-sleepers and active sleepers report the bonnet stays on through the night.
Is the inside the same silk as the outside?
Yes — both faces of the bonnet are 6A long-staple mulberry silk at 22 momme. No satin lining, no polyester filler.
