Choosing a size
Will my design show at 20 cm?
Simple designs work best: a monogram, a logo repeat or one strong picture. Fine detail and small words are hard to see once the square is folded.
Is 35 cm big enough to tie at the neck?
Only as a small, close knot. For a neckerchief with tails, choose 53 or 65 cm.
Should I choose 45 or 53 cm?
45 cm ties close at the neck with short tails. 53 cm folds into a bandana triangle and leaves more to tie.
Is it big enough to tie as a bandana?
Yes. Folded into a triangle, the long side is about 71 cm, enough to tie at the back of the neck. For more to tie, choose 53 cm.
How big is it folded?
Folded into a triangle, the long side is about 75 cm: enough to tie at the back of the neck or around the head.
Should I choose 60 or 65 cm?
They are close. 65 cm folds into a triangle that ties with longer tails; 60 cm sits a little closer to the neck.
Is 65 cm the right size for a gift?
For most people, yes: it ties easily at the neck and shows a photo or four large enough to see.
Is 70 cm big enough for a headscarf?
Yes, tied at the nape. To tie under the chin, choose 90 cm.
Is 90 cm too big to wear at the neck?
No. Folded into a band it loops around the neck with long ends. It is our size for photos and artwork because so much of the print shows.
How big is it folded into a triangle?
The long side is about 156 cm, enough to drape over both shoulders and knot.
